Ryan's relationship with technology started early, diving deep into networking and internet fundamentals in high school and contributing to open-source Linux projects before most people had broadband. What began as genuine curiosity became a 25-year career that has touched nearly every corner of enterprise technology.

He has been the sysadmin rebuilding infrastructure at 2 AM. The sales engineer running proof-of-concepts that never lost. The project manager holding timelines across multi-million dollar deployments. The product thinker asking why the tooling didn't exist yet, and then building it.

Across roles at AutoTrader, Nokia, BC Hydro, Dell, Long View Systems, and other industry leaders, Ryan developed a rare combination of technical depth and business acumen. He led sales engineering teams across multiple countries, scaled enterprise territory teams up to eight figures, and over four years, built a POC methodology that went 36 for 36. Not through shortcuts, but through a systematic process so thorough that the outcome was never in question.

What sets Ryan apart is not any single skill. It is the fact that he taught himself all of them. Operations, engineering, sales, product, compliance, architecture. No CS degree. No MBA. Just relentless curiosity and a belief that the best solutions come from people who understand problems from every angle.

He founded Phi Intelligence to put 25 years of hard-won methodology into software, so other teams can benefit from the same systems that produced those results.
